As an avid iPad user for note-taking, sketching, and general navigation, I'd been considering getting a stylus to enhance my experience. This particular Stylus Pen for iPad (2018-2025) caught my eye with its promise of pixel-perfect precision, palm rejection, and tilt sensitivity, features often found in much more expensive options. The added benefit of 2X fast charging also seemed appealing. Hoping to improve my workflow and creative endeavors on my iPad, I decided to give this active pen a try.
The stylus pen arrived in a sleek box containing the pen itself, a USB-C charging cable, and a couple of replacement pen tips. My first impression was that the pen felt well-built and had a comfortable weight in my hand, similar to a traditional pen. The matte finish provided a good grip. There were no buttons on the main body, which contributed to a clean and minimalist design. The included USB-C port for charging was a welcome modern touch.
Getting started was incredibly easy – there was no need for Bluetooth pairing. I simply turned on my iPad and started writing and drawing. The stylus responded instantly and with impressive accuracy. The pixel-perfect precision allowed me to create fine lines and detailed sketches with ease. The palm rejection feature worked flawlessly; I could rest my hand naturally on the screen without any unintended marks being registered. This made the writing and drawing experience feel much more natural and comfortable. I also experimented with the tilt sensitivity in a sketching app, and it performed as advertised, allowing me to vary the thickness of my lines by simply tilting the pen. This added a new level of expressiveness to my digital artwork. Charging the pen was quick and convenient with the included USB-C cable. A small indicator light on the pen showed the charging status. The overall experience of using this stylus pen felt remarkably similar to using a much more expensive first-party option. It significantly improved my ability to take handwritten notes, annotate documents, and create digital art on my iPad.
